About Us

Grade 8 school is located in the village of Elginburg just north of Highway 401 along Sydenham Road. We are a rural school situated on a large property that boasts an outdoor classroom, a track, playground structures, and a large field area that is used by the community on a regular basis.

Academics also play a strong part in the everyday school environment and our teachers and support staff are committed to student success each and every day. Students are given many opportunities to hone their positive leadership and citizenship skills, participate in teams and clubs, support the environment, and celebrate the arts in all forms. Extra-curricular student activities are valued at EDPS. Elginburg Eagle Spirit awards are given to promote positive citizenship and caring attitudes and academic achievement.

We are a strong community school with an active School Council. There is a sense of pride and history are part of EDPS and a number of our students are second and third-generation family members attending the school. We are continually proud of our students, staff, families and community.
